Very little. We apply a strong numbing cream, use ice to settle the area, and the filler itself contains an anaesthetic. Combined with slow, precise placement, most patients describe it as a mild pinch or pressure rather than pain.
Almost always less than you'd expect. Our philosophy is minimal filler, maximum result — we'd rather under-treat and build gradually than overfill. Many patients achieve their ideal shape with a fraction of a syringe, placed strategically.
That's the whole point of our technique. By prioritising shape over volume, the result reads as naturally balanced lips — not "filler." The most common feedback our patients give is that nobody could tell anything had been done.
